Using the console

A map of the Amomic-AI console — the Workspace and Manage sections of the sidebar, the organization menu, search, notifications, theme and help — and which pages each role sees.

Open the console

The console at console.amomic.in is the human side of Amomic-AI. Your agents keep working when it is closed. The console is where your team sets them up, steps in when a person is needed, and reviews what happened.

Everyone in a workspace uses the same console. Your role decides which pages appear in the sidebar and which controls you get: see Roles change what you see.

The sidebar has two sections: daily work under Workspace, configuration under Manage.

The layout #

  • The sidebar on the left lists every page, in two sections. Collapse at the bottom shrinks it to icons. On a narrow screen it hides behind the menu button at the top left.
  • The top bar shows the organization you're working in, then the page you're on. One level deeper, for example inside an agent, the page name becomes a link back up.
  • On the right of the top bar: Search or jump to…, the notification bell, the theme switch, and your profile menu.

A Plan chip beside a page means your plan doesn't include it yet; the page explains how to unlock it. See Locked features.

The organization menu #

The name at the top left is the organization, or workspace, this tab is working in. Everything you see and do in the tab, from conversations to API keys, belongs to it. Click the name to open the menu:

  • Organizations lists every workspace you belong to, with your role in each. A tick marks this tab's one. Click another to switch this tab only.
  • The arrow beside a workspace opens it in a new tab. Other tabs stay where they are, so you can work in two workspaces side by side.
  • Invitations, when you have any, lists invitations to other workspaces with Accept and Decline. A dot on the organization's picture means one is waiting.
  • Create organization sets up another workspace, with its own plan, team, channels and billing.

A new tab opens in the workspace you used last. A link with ?org=<Organization ID> opens in that workspace, whatever the tab was on. If a page looks unexpectedly empty, check the name at the top left first.

Workspaces & roles covers leaving a workspace and what happens when you're removed.

Search instead of hunting #

Press Ctrl+K (Windows) or ⌘K (Mac), or click Search or jump to… in the top bar or Quick jump on Home. The Search workspace box finds:

  • pages, and tasks such as book an appointment, booking rules, create an agent, team members or compliance;
  • your agents, knowledge bases and contacts;
  • recent conversations, channel connections, calls and phone numbers.

Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open and Esc to close. Recent searches are offered when the box is empty.

Search follows your role. A member isn't offered admin-only pages, and finding a page never bypasses the permission check behind it.

Notifications #

The bell in the top bar collects notices for you in this workspace. A dot on it means something is unread. Click it to see the latest ten, with Mark all read. Clicking a notice marks it read and opens the page it is about.

What arrives in the bell:

  • Tickets: a reply on a ticket assigned to you that could not be delivered, so you can try another way.
  • Phone numbers, for whoever made the request: number requests received, completed or not approved, and business verification results.
  • Billing, for owners and admins: usage reaching 80%, 95% and 100% of an allowance, credits running low or expiring, plan changes and trials, and failed or recovered payments.

Live handoff requests don't go to the bell. They ring in Live support and as alerts on your device; see Human handoff. Which notices are also emailed is set on Settings → Notifications.

Theme #

The sun or moon button in the top bar switches between dark and light. The console starts dark. Your choice is remembered in this browser.

Help and documentation #

Click your picture at the top right for the profile menu:

  • Settings opens Settings.
  • Documentation opens this site in a new tab.
  • Support starts an email to support@amomic.in. Include your Organization ID from Settings → Organization, the page address, and any error message or reference you saw.
  • Sign out.

Some pages link straight to the right section of these docs, such as Guide links in Campaigns.

Things that appear across the top #

  • Billing notices. A banner appears under the top bar when a payment is due soon or overdue, a trial is about to end, or the workspace is winding down after a plan ended. If a workspace is suspended for non-payment, every page except Billing is replaced until it is paid. See When a payment fails.
  • An invitation banner when someone invites you to another workspace, with Accept and Decline.
  • A new version of Amomic-AI is ready when the console was updated while your tab was open. Click Reload to pick it up.

Roles change what you see #

Members do the day-to-day support work: Inbox, Tickets, Live support, Calendar, Calls, Contacts and Analytics. Campaigns, Channels and Developers aren't in a member's sidebar at all, and opening Agents shows Administrator access is required. Admins configure the product. The owner also handles the plan, payment and ownership transfer.

The full permission matrix is in Workspaces & roles.
